About Credential Manager

Credential Manager History

Welcome to the History of Credential Manager

In the beginning in the year 2000 and 2001, for website management you would be finding yourself in a bit of a mess.  If you were joining websites back then, there was NO browser management like we have today.

For the most part you would be storing your credentials and information in a DOC or SPREADSHEET file.  This is still the method many people use to store their credentials even today.  They will use Word, Notepad, a spreadsheet, and in fact there are those that keep a print out of their credentials with them at all times.

All of this is unorganized and breaks down in several places, it's a disaster.

Also, even with browser management, that breaks down too, when you have multiple devices that you are using.  Each device has its own browser and it gets a little confusing even if you just have 5-10 sites you visit over 2-4 different devices with different browsers on each one.  Imagine with 50+ websites the confusion over 2-4 devices which is the average in todays Internet World.

If you have multiple devices, it is necessary that you become centralized through a Cloud based process to manage and get to the websites you are using no matter what device you are using at the time.  You can even get to your stuff from someone else's computer!

So, because of the mess I personally had back then, in 2002 I engineered a comprehensive solution (The old Vault system)  and it was very well received because there was NO one else doing this at that time.

Over the years there came competition, but NO ONE has anything as comprehensive as Credential Manager.  Most of the  competition are focusing on website login credentials and financial credentials as well.

Whereas here at Credential Manager we are focused on ALL of the information associated with your websites for storage AND operations as well. We even have the WHOIS information on all of the {servicecount} website's in Credential Manager.

So, in 2015, after 13 years with the old vault system that had a lot of manual upkeep, we decided that we needed more automation and we wanted a more social environment for Credential Manager as well.

So, on October 4, 2016, Credential Manager was born.  It is so much better than the old vault solution with more automation and a good set of social tools as well.

About a new kind of Credential Management Solution

The Credential Manager solution we provide stemmed from a need for those on the internet to have a way to CENTRALIZE personal & marketing credentials and streamline their website operations.

With this credential management solution you can store for Each Website Activated:

  1. Unlimited Usernames & Passwords (AES 128 Encryption)
  2. Unlimited Links (Affiliate, Social, YouTube, Blogs, etc.)
  3. Unlimited Email associations (Yours, Website support, Account Manager, etc)
  4. Unlimited any info area (Security Q/A, Video Script, Banner Code, HTML Snippets, etc.)
  5. A start-page link that has a button for you to use for an additional button link that can be named
  6. A large notes section that allows you to put in additional information about your site
  7. The login link is stored for you with each of your websites in a button below the site selected
  8. All {servicecount} websites have their WHOIS info stamped on the record for you to display

You receive a credential management solution where you have a comprehensive storage & retrieval system for your Websites & the info associated with them that is easy to use & produces powerful results.

Additionally all the logins for your Websites are there with a login button that takes you right to the login page or your website activation.

When a website is added to the system it's login information is stored and the site becomes available for everyone who is using that website to activate with their credentials. Currently there are {servicecount} websites in the database just waiting for you to activate them!

There is also a Top Referral URL process around this credential manager for members who add a new Website to the database.  If there is a referring process associated with the website added, the Referral URL added by that member will be the TOP referral URL for the Website added to the database forever and there is a visit site button that is linked to the Top Referral URL system wide.  So, if you added the website and anyone clicks the visit site button they are looking at YOUR referral URL for that website.

Additionally all members have an Affiliate referring process that is cookie based (For 1 year) and can be used with ANY credentialmanager.co link just by appending a ?refaqb= to the link.  As an example if your member ID were 200 then for the main landing page your affiliate link would be:

https://www.credentialmanager.co/?refaqb=200

With this link you can promote Credential Manager and when anyone joins under your link they are put into your hierarchy and are befriended too.

In addition, the WHOIS Registration information is stamped on every website added to the database so that you are provided with pertinent information about the Website being stored in the database.  You will find the creation date of the site, the registrar for the site, the location of the site and other pertinent information from the WHOIS information stored on the website in the Credential Manager database.  You just click the display button for any area of Credential Manager and at the bottom of the popup display box you will find the WHOIS Registration information for the website being displayed.
